Meet your Therapist
Finding the right therapist can be hard but we believe that honesty and commitment can help you find the peace you are looking for.
Life can be incredibly difficult. We all experience moments when we feel overwhelmed by pain, loss, anxiety, relationship struggles, or circumstances that seem beyond our control. I believe that while life can be cruel and people can hurt us deeply, it can also be beautiful when we find the opportunity to heal, grow, and move forward with hope.
My passion is helping people find healing and lasting peace. Whether you're navigating a difficult season, working through past experiences, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and free from judgment. I strive to provide a calm, encouraging, and compassionate environment where you can openly share your story and discover hope for the future.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boise State University and my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with individuals facing a wide range of challenges through my experience with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and in various mental health settings. These experiences have deepened my belief that every person has the capacity to heal, even when life feels overwhelming.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I believe that while our past experiences shape us, they do not have to define our future. Together, we'll explore the strengths and resilience you already possess, identify meaningful goals, and work toward practical steps that move you closer to the life you want to live. I also believe that every person's story matters, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they rewrite the chapters of their lives with hope, purpose, and confidence.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected from the life you want, I believe therapy can be a place where healing begins and lasting change becomes possible.
Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, watching movies, and playing video games. I believe that balance, connection, and finding joy in everyday life are important parts of overall well-being, and I encourage my clients to discover what brings them that same sense of fulfillment.
Taking the first step toward therapy isn't always easy, and reaching out for support takes courage. My hope is that when you walk into my office—or meet with me through telehealth—you'll find a welcoming place where you feel accepted, supported, and empowered to move toward the healing and peace you deserve. It would be a privilege to be part of your journey.
